Be scared and do it anyway.
When I started my first company, I did not know anything about starting a business or investing in startups, 8 years later it became my holding company with over 50 startup investments.
When I was asked to launch thehub.io in Norway, I had no experience launching and scaling an online platform. But I said yes and skyrocketed all our goals.
When I decided to launch an online accelerator for startups in 2018, it was a new scary venture, but I went for it. 1 year later we had startups joining from all around the world and the online accelerator got acquired by a bigger accelerator in the Nordics.
When I was offered to become Head Of Fintech at TheFactory and later CEO, I did not know it all, but I said yes, I knew I can figure out things along the way.
When I was asked last year, a few weeks before the beginning of the semester, to teach startup methodologies at Kristiania University, I got really scared and felt a big responsibility. But I said yes.
My advice: feel the fear and say yes. You can figure out things along the way.
